After graduating with a dual degree in Finance and Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and Schmalkalden University of Applied Science in Germany, Kim has gained hands-on experience in several industries, including medical imaging technology, a dental practice, and financial services. It struck Kim that her favorite part of every job was always meeting clients, having conversations, providing support, and acting as their reliable point of contact. As soon as she experienced how good financial planning can help people achieve their goals and live their dreams, she was sold on building her career in the financial planning industry. She soon obtained her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ designation and loves the role she plays in helping others on their own financial journeys!
Outside of work, Kim enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. Her husband is a professional photographer, and they also enjoy taking photos, flying drones while traveling, and trying new things together.

“Wealth that Matters” reminds me to appreciate the journey when going for our goals. It means to enjoy the present, create positive impacts on surroundings and be thankful since we only live every day once.
When did you first realize you were interested in finance?
My ultimate goal is to be in a career that I’m passionate about and where I’m able to help others. When I first started to work in financial services, I experienced that having a good financial plan can make a huge impact on people’s lives. Finance is one of the most important parts of everyone’s life, and I understand that financial planning plays an essential role for people to afford their dreams and achieve goals. I love my career in the finance field because it aligns with my values and career goals.
What is the most important thing you have learned about helping other people?
I love to observe acts of kindness and how people show love and care to others. I guess it naturally came to me when I was a kid, I saw my mom helping others who were less fortunate. She taught me to respect and help others when possible. You know, people usually say there is a great joy in being a servant for those in need. After all, I believe in doing the right thing and doing my best to help the community thrive!
